County Manager's Office

County Manager's Office

The County Manager’s Office is responsible for the executive oversight of the nation’s 11th-largest county, which provides regional services to more than 2.4 million residents, approximately 38 million visitors annually, and municipal-like services to more than 1 million residents in the unincorporated County. The County Manager is Kevin Schiller, who, in his position as the County’s Chief Executive Officer, is charged with carrying out the policies established by the seven-member County Commission.

Schiller and his staff are responsible for the fiscal management of the County's $11.7 billion budget and provide administrative oversight for 38 diverse and geographically dispersed departments, including Harry Reid International Airport, the nation’s 7th-busiest, and University Medical Center, the state’s largest public hospital. Schiller is assisted by Chief Financial Officer Jessica Colvin, Deputy County Managers Les Lee Shell, Abigail Frierson, Lisa Kremer, and Sam Bateman; and Chief Communications and Strategy Officer Jennifer Cooper.
