Clark County’s Broadband Division is working closely with various County departments such as Family Services, Social Services, Juvenile Justice Services and Health and Human Services, to help residents get connected with internet access, digital skills training, device access, and workforce training.

The Broadband Division is currently developing an internal framework and training toolkit to support the County’s extensive network of case workers who provide essential services to the public on a daily basis. Through customized broadband training programs specifically tailored to our case workers, we hope to bolster their ability to help residents in need break the generational cycles of poverty, homelessness and persistent unemployment, by making residents aware of the broadband resources available to them.

Our Broadband Access and Community Engagement (BACE) Training Toolkit for Case Workers will be developed with input from case workers in multiple County departments. Our case workers are in the best position to advise us on what their clients need.

The Broadband Division intends to create an internal SharePoint hub to facilitate the following:

You can download the following Clark County Broadband Flyer, which contains hyperlinks to our web pages, to national programs, and to the four (4) local library districts offering device access, digital skills training and workforce programs.

If you are a Clark County case worker and you or your department would like to collaborate in the development of training toolkits and webinars, please contact BACE@ClarkCountyNV.gov.
