Building - Simple Online Permits


A Citizen Access Portal account is REQUIRED to submit/access/pay for permits.

Building Simple Online Permits are permits that do not require plans for plan review and are obtained upon processing in the Citizen Access Portal. 

Building Simple Online Permits are limited to the following items:
Electrical (Residential & Commercial)
  • Test and Tag
  • Same size panel replacement ONLY
Mechanical (Commercial), only (1) appliance per permit.
***If you are replacing multiple appliance on a single structure, you need to apply for a Sub-Trade permit.***
  • Furnace Replacement less than 100K
  • A/C Furnace Replacement less than 5 tons
  • Condenser Pump Combo Replace
Mechanical (Residential), only (1) appliance per permit.
***If you are replacing more than (1) appliance, you will need a separate permit for each appliance.*** 
  • A/C Furnace Replacement less than 5 tons
  • Condenser Pump Combo Replace
  • Furnace Replacement less than 100K
  • Furnace Replacement greater than 100K
Plumbing (Residential & Commercial), only (1) item per permit.
  • Gas Re-Tag
  • Water Heater
  • Reverse Osmosis
  • Water Softener
  • Re-Pipe (Residential Only)

Simple Online Permits are NOT renewable. Once the permit has expired, a new online submittal for a new permit will be required.

Items installed inside or attached to a Manufactured Home must be permitted and inspected by Nevada State Manufactured Housing Division (702) 486-4135
