Red Rock Overlay Update

The Board of County Commissioners directed the Department of Comprehensive Planning to update the land use regulations and design standards for the Red Rock Overlay. The Red Rock Overlay is established to maintain the rural character of the area, preserve wildlife habitat, and minimize visual impacts of development on the adjacent Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The Red Rock Overlay (RRO) Update is an opportunity to review, discuss, and comment on proposed modifications to the overlay requirements. The existing RRO can be found in Chapter 30.02.26.H of the Clark County Unified Development Code (Title 30) at the following link: Title 30.
