Small Business: Come Prepared to Hire!
  • Your business may be eligible for a grant to cover the cost of providing the $500 sign-on bonus
    • Job openings must be permanent, full-time positions (36+ hours per week)
    • Job openings must have a $15 per hour minimum wage
    • Job openings must provide W-2, no independent contractor, 1099 offerings
    • New employee must be employed a minimum of 30-days
    • Employer to transfer all sign-on bonus funds to new employee
    • Business must have an active local business license
    • Employer and employee must be registered and attend the job fair
    • Employer and employee must not have had a previous employment relationship
    • Employer may apply for grant funds up to 60-days after job fair
  • Your business may be eligible for funds to cover on-the-job training
  • Tables, chairs and wi-fi will be provided for each employer
  • COVID-19 Vaccination and Flu Shot Clinic on site
  • Separate area available for on-the-spot interviews
  • Table preference will be given to employers with 5 or more job offerings

Cannabis Related Business:

  • Businesses licensed and located within Unincorporated Clark County ONLY may participate
  • Businesses licensed and located within Unincorporated Clark County and meeting all other criteria (as noted above) may receive the $500 sign-on bonus grant for each new employee
  • No on-the-job training will be available
