You Do Not Need A Voter Registration Card to Vote

You do NOT need to show your Voter Registration Card when you vote early (before Election Day) or vote on Election Day. You may vote whether or not you have it with you. But, having it handy will make the sign-in process easier. If you do not have a Voter Registration Card and would like a replacement, call (702) 455-VOTE (8683) or send an e-mail to elinfo@ClarkCountyNV.gov.

When to Expect Your Voter Registration Card

The Election Department will mail you a Voter Registration Card whenever:

If you do not receive your Card within two weeks after submitting a Voter Registration Application or updating your registration, or if you lose your card and would like another, call (702) 455-VOTE (8683) or send an e-mail to elinfo@ClarkCountyNV.gov.

Voter Registration Cards are Non-Forwardable Mail

If the post office returns your Voter Registration Card to the Election Department as being “undeliverable” or indicating you have moved, your registration may be made “INACTIVE." That means the Election Department will stop sending you sample ballots and election-related materials in the mail (although you may still vote early or at the Election Day polling place for your address that is listed in your registration records).
