Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife

Mission Statement
The Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife consists of seven board members, the board solicits and evaluates local opinion on matters relating to the wildlife and submits recommendations to the State Wildlife Commission.  The Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife receives its mandate from NRS 501.260.  1) The Board of County Commissioners shall appoint qualified persons to the board who are residents of the county and are: (a) hunters, trappers or anglers or  (b) engaged in ranching or farming in the county.   2) In addition to the members appointed pursuant to subsection (1), The Board of County Commissioners shall appoint one qualified person to the board who represents the interests of the general public of the county.  The person appointed pursuant to this subsection must be a resident of the county from which he or she is appointed.   NRS 501.275 1) The Board of County Commissioners shall appoint members to the boards of their respective counties.  2) Each member appointed shall serve a term of 3 years.
