Dan Giraldo

Deputy Director of Fire Department

Dan Giraldo previously served as the Deputy Director of Administrative Services for Clark County. In this role he provides executive oversight of key functions including Commission Office support, Town and Liaison Services, Laughlin Town Services, Commission Events, Intergovernmental Relations, and Policy Research and Analysis. Serves as a primary liaison to the Board of County Commissioners, ensuring alignment with policy priorities and responsiveness to constituent needs.

Prior to joining Clark County, Dan served as Senior Vice President at Bank of America, where he led the bank’s corporate social responsibility efforts across Las Vegas and Southern Nevada. He was responsible for regional strategic planning, philanthropic investments, sponsorships, public relations, community engagement, and employee volunteerism. In addition, he cultivated strong partnerships with public officials, nonprofit leaders, and key community stakeholders.

Dan also served as a liaison between Bank of America and federal regulators, managing relationships with regulatory agencies and elected officials across a multi-state region spanning Alaska to Wyoming. He played a key role in supporting the bank’s efforts during the Department of Justice settlement, further demonstrating his ability to navigate complex regulatory and governmental environments.

Earlier in his career, Dan served as Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the Nevada Assembly during the 2011 Legislative Session, where he worked closely with legislators and caucus members to advance policy initiatives focused on education, economic development, and government reform.

He also served as District Director for Congresswoman Dina Titus, where he managed all district operations and staff for Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District, representing over one million constituents and ensuring effective constituent services and community engagement.

Dan is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He began his career in the hospitality industry, managing restaurant operations and improving performance across multiple locations nationwide.

A native of Casper, Wyoming, Dan played soccer at UNLV and remains deeply connected to the program. Above all, he values his role as a devoted husband and father. His diverse experience across public service, corporate leadership, and community engagement reflects a strong commitment to leadership, service, and continuous growth.
