Data for Purchase

1. As part of normal operations, GISMO collects and maintains GIS data to meet the accuracy requirements of a broad scale land information system. Therefore, the level of accuracy of the GIS data contained within the GISMO products is deemed adequate for general planning purposes and subject to continuous updating.

2. NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, ARE PROVIDED, INCLUDING USAGE, CONTENT, INTERPRETATION, SEQUENCE, ACCURACY, CURRENCY, TIMELINESS, OR THAT THE GISMO PRODUCT(S) WILL MEET THE PURCHASER’S REQUIREMENTS, BE COMPLETE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. GISMO EXPLICITLY DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. PURCHASER ACCEPTS THE GISMO PRODUCT(S) “AS IS,” WITH ANY AND ALL DEFECTS, IF ANY. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO QUALITY, PERFORMANCE AND USEFULNESS OF THE GISMO PRODUCT(S) RESTS WITH THE PURCHASER.

Custom Maps/Prints

The GISMO team offers creating custom maps for purchase as a service. Custom maps can contain basic information such as, Streets, Parcel lot lines, Aerial photography and administrative/jurisdictional boundaries. Some custom map requests requiring research will be considered for a fee of $50 dollars an hour with a 4-hour maximum. These requests will be evaluated by the GISMO team. The GISMO team has the right to accept or deny any request. The pricing is as follows:

36 x 48 – $30

24 x 36 – $20

18 x 24 – $20

11 x 17 – $10

8.5 x 11 – $10

Every 4^th map free

Research fee: $50.00/hour (4 hour maximum)

The Assessor's Parcel Data set includes tabular and geospatial data that contains information about the real property parcels, such as parcel ownership and mailing address, property location, land use and valuation. The pricing is as follows:

$50 per section (every 4th section free)

$2,500 for the entire county

The GISMO team offers purchasing of historical aerial imagery from 2015 to 2020 by section. The pricing is as follows:

Aerial – $20/section (4^th section is discounted free)

No Discount for full aerial

Characteristics of private individuals and/or companies who may be interested in purchasing a GIS Data Subscription include:

• those who do not qualify as a local government and, therefore, cannot become a GIS Interlocal Participant.
• those users who have data requirements that cannot be met by through the Downloadable GIS Data Sets.
• those performing a variety of analyses throughout Clark County where up-to-date property ownership and/or land use information is a priority and, therefore, the cost can be justified based on the benefit to their particular organization.

Those interested in annual subscriptions to the Southern Nevada GIS data warehouse will be required to submit a GIS Data Subscriber License Agreement and provide a memo authored on company letter head, and signed by a licensed user, stating that the Company/Agency understands that the data may not be resold, and is attained solely for the use of that Company/Agency, and a W-9. With these forms, and the annual fee of $7,500, subscribers will receive weekly updates to all the GIS data in the Clark County Central Repository data warehouse including Assessor's property ownership.
