The North Las Vegas Justice Court hears the following types of cases: motor vehicle/traffic citations, small claims cases not exceeding $10,000, evictions, protective orders, misdemeanors, and civil actions that do not exceed $15,000. In addition, North Las Vegas Justice Court handles gross misdemeanor and felony cases from initial arrest through the preliminary hearing stage, including bail setting and probable cause determination.
PUBLIC ACCESS TO HEARINGS
As part of its commitment to making courts accessible to the public, the North Las Vegas Justice Court provides access to its hearings and other court proceedings live on the Internet via the Zoom application.
