PUBLIC ACCESS TO HEARINGS

*IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING ZOOM VIDEO CONFRENCE MEETINGS

Due to recent technical issues we have been experiencing with the video conferencing system in our Department 1 courtroom, all Zoom meetings will currently be unavailable for maintenance starting on Monday, June 10, 2024 thru Friday, June 14, 2024. As part of its commitment to making courts accessible to the public, the North Las Vegas Justice Court provides access to its hearings and other court proceedings live on the Internet via the Zoom application. Please note: all hearings on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays are held in Department 2. Click here for additional instructions.

NORTH LAS VEGAS JUSTICE COURT ANNOUNCES MANDATORY E-FILING FOR ALL COUNSELING REPORTS, EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 1, 2023

All counseling reports must be filed electronically with the North Las Vegas Justice Court at least 72 hours prior to the next scheduled hearing, but no sooner than 10 days prior, effective December 1, 2023.

An account is required to access the eFile system and will be created upon request. Please follow the EFILE link at the bottom of the page below for information on how to request an e-filing account. Instruction will be provided upon account creation.


NORTH LAS VEGAS JUSTICE COURT ANNOUNCES MANDATORY
E-FILING FOR ALL CIVIL CASES, EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 2, 2023

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 2023-01 MANDATORY ELECTRONIC FILING

The North Las Vegas Justice Court is requiring mandatory e-filing for all new civil cases as well as subsequent pleadings filed by an attorney, effective October 2, 2023. This project aims to use technology to improve service to the public, expand access, save time, and reduce the use of paper. Self-represented litigants are exempt from this obligation and will be assisted by court staff.

There is no fee for e-filing except for convenience fees associated with payments made via debit or credit card. Frequent filers are encouraged to request a deposit account for the payment of filing fees.

Please follow the EFILE link at the bottom of the page below for information on how to request an e-filing and/or deposit account. Instruction will be provided upon account creation.

Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Contact the court's customer service phone numbers for alternative means of filing or conducting essential hearings, such as facsimile, telephonic/video, or email.
