Mexican Folkloric Dance

Folkloric Dance is a colorful and exciting tradition of Mexican culture. Participants ages 8 to 15, will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich culture by learning technical footwork, steps, and skirt work. Students will also learn the history and origin of each dance.
Boxing Basics

Boxing Basics is designed to teach children ages 8-16 the fundamentals of boxing. Children will learn proper footwork, punching technique, and knowledge about the sport of boxing. All of this while getting a full body work out.
After-School Rec

After-school is a free program designed to provide a fun environment for children 6-12 yrs. old to participate in activities ranging from arts and crafts, sports, dance, video games, movies, and a place to complete their homework. We are offering a way to have fun from home while staying safe during this time. You can join us for some friendly competition and keep your bowling skills up. Wii bowling is perfect for all skill levels and abilities. Participants please send a photo of their game scores to the Cora Coleman Senior Center via Facebook Private Messenger, email to CoraColemanSeniorCenter@ClarkCountyNV.gov, or call the center with your scores including strikes and splits. The Moapa Valley tumbling program is for participants in Elementary school, ages 5 to 12 years of age. Children will learn the basics of tumbling such as handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, and back handsprings.
There are several offerings to challenge children to improve as they progress through the program. Offerings start at Kinder and move up to Advanced II.

Walk with a Red Rock Audubon birding expert and a Wetlands Park nature guide and learn more about the birds found in and around the Las Vegas Wash. Safari Cart Tours

Explore the most scenic areas of the Wetlands Park Nature Preserve from the comfort of the open-air Safari Cart. One- and two-hour tours available, you can even schedule your own!
