Mexican Folkloric Dance

Boxing Basics

Exhibit: Clark County Museum Lines Across the Land – Historic Maps of Southern Nevada
7 days a week 9:00am - 4:30pm until January 15, 2021

This exhibit displays historic and contemporary maps selected from the Museum collections to look at southern Nevada, its connections in physical space and its sense of place and shared community.  The exhibit features the first map showing Las Vegas: John C. Fremont and Charles Preuss 1865 Map of an Exploring Expedition to the Rocky Mountains. The Clark County Museum is open at 1830 S. Boulder Highway. The museum has an indoor exhibit gallery featuring displays about Southern Nevada history from prehistoric to modern times.  The outdoor Heritage Street area is open for self-guided tours and contains a collection of about two dozen historic buildings including a wedding chapel, print shop, railroad cottage and several homes. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. seven days a week. Admission is $1 for children and $2 for adults.

Wii at Home - Ages 50 +

We are offering a way to have fun from home while staying safe during this time. You can join us for some friendly competition and keep your bowling skills up. Wii bowling is perfect for all skill levels and abilities. Participants please send a photo of their game scores to the Cora Coleman Senior Center via Facebook Private Messenger, email to CoraColemanSeniorCenter@ClarkCountyNV.gov, or call the center with your scores including strikes and splits. Winners will be the following Monday.

Bingo in the Park

Bocce Ball

Challenge yourself and others with this fun outdoor game. The center will supply hand sanitizer and equipment. Water Aerobics

Karate

Yoga

Zumba

Overton Active Learning

Turbo Kick

Turbo Kick® is an interval-based, full-body workout that begins with a sports-specific warm-up. High-paced intervals follow with kickboxing-specific strength/endurance training sequences and easy-to-follow combinations. Class ends with a mind/body-like (think Tai-Chi) cool-down.

The Moapa Valley tumbling program is for participants in Elementary school, ages 5 to 12 years of age. Children will learn the basics of tumbling such as handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, and back handsprings.
There are several offerings to challenge children to improve as they progress through the program. Offerings start at Kinder and move up to Advanced II.

Pickleball

Pickleball is a paddle sport (similar to a racquet sport) that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a whiffle ball, over a net. Face Masks Required.

Birding
3rd Sunday of most months, 8:00am – 10:00am

Walk with a Red Rock Audubon birding expert and a Wetlands Park nature guide and learn more about the birds found in and around the Las Vegas Wash. Get to know other bird enthusiasts and learn about birding resources. Be prepared to walk up to two miles. Advance signup required, space is limited. Fee: $5 Ages 10+. Safari Cart Tours
Run Dates and Times vary, also available to schedule on request
Explore the most scenic areas of the Wetlands Park Nature Preserve from the comfort of the open-air Safari Cart. One- and two-hour tours available, you can even schedule your own! Great for first-time visitors or those with mobility issues. Fee: $28 for a one-hour tour or $56 for a two-hour tour. Get Involved at Wetlands Park

Learn how to become a volunteer at Clark County Wetlands Park in this free one-hour virtual class. Learn about volunteer opportunities and the history of Wetlands Park. Due to COVID-19, opportunities are limited, and volunteers must be 18+ to work independently.
