DESIGN TEAM PUBLIC PRESENTATION EVENT
Clark County Government Center Chambers
500 S. Grand Central Parkway
Clark County hosted a special design team presentation event for the public to learn more about the ideas behind the five concepts under consideration for a memorial to remember the events of the 1 October tragedy. The order of presentations was decided by drawing and offered in this order: OLIN, JCJ Architecture, Aaron Neubert Architects+studioSTIGSGAARD, SWA Group, and Paul Murdoch Architects. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITY SURVEY
The 1 October Memorial Committee will seek input from the public about the design concepts through a short online survey. Participants will be asked whether the concepts meet the committee’s mission, vision and goals for the permanent memorial. The results of the survey will be incorporated into the evaluation process.

Clark County Government Center Chambers 500 S. Grand Central Parkway The Committee will receive scores from the evaluation process and deliberate on a design recommendation to the Clark County Commission.

Clark County Government Center Chambers 500 S. Grand Central Parkway The 1 October Memorial Committee will submit its recommendation for a design to the County Commission.

1 OCTOBER MEMORIAL DESIGN CONCEPT & CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS EXHIBIT
Rotunda Gallery at the Government Center 500 S. Grand Central Parkway Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The recommended design for the 1 October Memorial project will be on display. The exhibit will include a display of creative expressions received from the public during the memorial development process.
