Charlotte Ellsworth
1912 - 1998
During World War II, Charlotte’s husband, Elmo, began working at the Basic Magnesium Plant. At first, he lived in the plant’s tent housing, but later Charlotte and their daughter, Jane, joined Elmo in Henderson. Charlotte began working at the El Rancho Hotel in Las Vegas. After the birth of their son, John Elmo, she took a break but later returned to her career and dedicated the next several decades to her work at various hotel and casinos.
