Erin Kenny
1960 -
Erin Kenny served two terms on the Clark County Commission, from 1994 to 1998. Due to controversy, she did not seek a third term. She was implicated in “Operation G-Sting,” an investigation by federal officials into her alleged receipt of campaign contributions from the owner of a strip club. Kenny entered a plea agreement and served 26 months in prison.
Kenny owned an advertising firm in Las Vegas before entering politics. After her political career, she earned a law degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2002, but she did not pass the bar exam.
