Jan Jones Blackhurst
1949 -
Jan Jones Blackhurst served as the mayor of Las Vegas from 1991 to 1999, becoming the first woman to hold the office. During her time as mayor, the city grew and tourism flourished. After her term, she joined Caesars Entertainment, where she focused on developing responsible gaming practices, promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment, and advancing environmental efforts.
