Linda Rivera has dedicated her career to serving as a federal civil servant. In 1984, she and her husband Jose relocated to Las Vegas, drawn by job opportunities. While employed with the Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, she managed a civil rights program and further developed the Southern Nevada Hispanic Employment Program. Notably, she revitalized an internship program that provided valuable experience for those interested in civil service work.
