Mary Beth Scow
1953 -
Mary Beth Scow, a Colorado native, arrived in Las Vegas in 1977. Over the course of her career, she dedicated herself to education and served on the Clark County School District’s Board of Trustees for twelve years. Additionally, she took part in various other education-related boards and committees. In 2010, Scow was elected to the Clark County Commission, and then she was reelected in 2014. Towards the end of her second term, she decided to prioritize her family and voluntarily resigned, choosing not to seek a third and final term.
