Shari Buck

1960 -

In 2009, Shari Buck became the first woman to serve as the mayor of North Las Vegas. Residents launched an effort to recall Buck in 2011. Though she stayed in office, she lost the 2013 reelection. Buck had served on the City Council for ten years before becoming mayor..
