Yolanda King
1968 -
Yolonda King oversaw Clark County as the Chief Executive Officer during a pivotal time that included the Great Recession, the 2017 Las Vegas Shooting, and the Covid pandemic. In this role, she implemented policies set by the Board of County Commissioners, managed the county's budget, and supervised 38 departments.
She previously served as Assistant County Manager and held various financial positions, eventually becoming Clark County's Chief Financial Officer.
Currently, King is the President of the Nevada Taxpayers Association. She also founded King Strategies, which provides services in business strategy, financial management, social impact initiatives, and government relations. She has received recognition for her work on affordable housing development.
