Ledraya Davis's "K-Pop Portraits" Exhibition
My name is Ledraya Davis, I am 15 years old. As far back as I can remember I have suffered from major anxiety disorder. I’ve always been interested in creating things but found that my special interest was painting. I am a self-taught artist and started with watercolors and acrylics, at around 9 or 10 years old. When I was around 12 years old, I began to use oil as my medium and found that I liked working with this medium the best. My oil painting coincided with the time that I was discovering K-pop music as well. I like K-pop so much because it gave me hope and helped me a lot to understand who I am; it just made sense to me to blend my two special interests together. I hope to inspire others through my art and expressions.

In celebration of our 2022 Children’s Festival (occurring in Winchester Park on Saturday, April 23rd, 10am – 3pm), the Winchester Wall Gallery’s April exhibition features the art of 15-year-old Ledraya Davis, a local self-taught artist. Ledraya’s colorful and distinctive portraits create the perfect backdrop to our 27th Annual Children’s Festival. We are especially inviting festival attendees to take a few minutes while they are here with us, at the festival, to come inside and discover Ledraya’s vivid and expressive art, which will be on display in the Cultural Center from April 4 – 30, 2022.
