Jazz in the Park Announces an Impressive Roster for the 35th year of the Five-Week-Concert Series in Clark County This Years Jazz In The Park Will be A Journey Through Music.

Welcome to the 35th year of Jazz in the Park, a five-week extravaganza of soulful tunes, local artistry, and community celebration! Experience the magic at the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater every Saturday from May 10, 2025 to June 7, 2025 for unforgettable nights of Jazz under the stars. This year's series will also feature multiple local supporting acts, adding even more depth to the musical journey.

Opening Acts: The excitement kicks off at 5:00 p.m. as the stage ignites with high-energy performances from rising stars and seasoned local talent! Get ready to be wowed by the incredible Las Vegas Academy Jazz Program students, followed by a dynamic lineup of adult acts sponsored by Fat Cat Las Vegas Jazz Club - featuring crowd favorites like KRR Band, McCoy Ramsey Project, AYCE Orchestra, Zen Friends, Los Plantanos and the vibrant BPR Brass Band. Then, as the sun sets, the spotlight shifts to our headliners taking the stage around 8:00 p.m. for a night of unforgettable jazz magic.

Seating & Picnic Setup: Secure your spot with picnic baskets, blankets, and low-back chairs starting at 4:00 p.m. Immerse yourself in the chill vibes, explore local artists and vendors, and get ready for a night to remember.

Limited Seating: Seating space is limited to first come first served, based on available capacity. Admission and parking are free. Tickets are required for entry!

Featured Artist Previews:

Keiko Matsui
Keiko started playing the piano at age 6 focusing on classical and developed an interest in jazz and started to compose her own music. She has produced top 10 Billboard hits on the Contemporary Jazz and Jazz charts.

Spyro Gyra
Spyro Gyra is a jazz fusion band formed in Buffalo, New York in 1974, known for their blend of jazz, R&B, funk, and pop music. They have maintained a strong presence on smooth jazz radio stations and are known for songs like "Morning Dance". They have been a touring band for over 50 years, performing extensively on multiple continents playing their music tha tis known for its melodic, adventurous fusion of jazz with R&B, Latin, and world music.

Jonathan Butler
Jonathan Butler is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who leads a life few can imagine. Born in South Africa under the shadow of apartheid and raised in poverty, Butler was the first non-white artist to be played on South African radio and appear on national television. At thirteen, Jonathan’s talents caught the eyes and ears of the British record producer Clive Caulder. He was signed to Caulder’s Jive Records and the rest is history. Jonathan’s first single broke down racial barriers becoming the first song by a black artist played by white radio stations in South Africa and won the South African equivalent to a GRAMMY®.

Kirk Whalum
Kirk Whalum (born July 11, 1958) is an American R&B and smooth jazz saxophonist and songwriter. Whalum has recorded a series of commercially and critically acclaimed solo studio albums. Along with several film soundtracks, with music ranging from pop to R&B to smooth jazz. Whalum is a member, together with trumpeter Rick Braun and guitarist Norman Brown, of jazz group BWB. He's also worked with artists such as Whitney Houston, Bob James, Jonathan Butler and Quincy Jones. What's more, he's collaborated with the likes of Michael McDonald, Chante Moore, Luther Vandross, Patrice Rushen, Will Downing and Brian Culbertson.

Jackiem Joyner & Jessy J

Jackiem Joyner
Contemporary saxophonist, author, and music producer Jackiem Joyner has set the bar high in his nearly two-decade-long career as a performer. With a number one jazz album, numerous Billboard chart-topping hits, and a series of critically acclaimed books to his name, Joyner has proven himself a rare artist capable of transcending his instrument and captivating mainstream audiences.

Jessy J
With the release of TERRANOVA, top contemporary jazz saxophonist Jessy J continues to add magical musical milestones to a celebrated career spanning 17 years. With eight chart topping Billboard albums, 13 top singles, a strong Spotify presence and sold-out world tours, her unique artistry has established her as one of the most in-demand and sought-after saxophonists in the genre.
