Clark County presents the 1st Annual Spring Festival, a one-day festival at the Desert Breeze Community Center located at 8275 Spring Mountain Road on the corner of Spring Mountain and Durango. The event will take place on Feb. 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring Asian traditions. Desert Breeze Community Center will be looking for participants in the following categories: Food and craft vendors, community partners, performers, artisans, musicians, educational vendors, entertainers, and artists for an exhibition.
The festival will welcome food and craft vendors to participate. The food truck vendor costs for a 10’x10’ space is $80, and craft vendor booth costs for a 10’x10’ space is $40. Vendor space will not include tables and chairs. The application can be found online at https://bit.ly/3CMbEG5 or can be picked up in person at The Desert Breeze Community Center. Applications must be filled out completely, or they will not be processed. The deadline for the applications is Friday, Jan. 7 by 5 p.m. Upon acceptance, the deadline for submitting full payment is Friday, Jan. 21 by 5 p.m.
Spring Festival, also known as Lunar New Year, is known as the most important holiday in Chinese culture and is also celebrated in Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Mongolian, and Tibetan cultures. Desert Breeze’s Spring Festival celebration will consist of various cultural performances from professional and amateur performers showcasing their talents, demonstrations, and activities. This event will include hands-on activities facilitated by artists, tabling opportunities for local businesses, arts and crafts, social service, and culture organizations,
