Emerging artist Abraham Abebe offers a local's perspective on Las Vegas, finding beauty in the mundane or discarded: a parking lot, an vacant storefront, a street of tract housing. With an emphasis on light and color, his series of oil paintings feature urban and suburban landscapes that evoke a sense of solitude and deep respect for his surroundings.
