Clark County Parks and Recreation presents "Life in Death: Day of the Dead," a two-day festival featuring displays, an art exhibit, performances, craft sales and food vendors at Winchester Cultural Center and Park. The event will explore cultural traditions related to the Mexican holiday of El Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. The Gallery will host an exhibition of over 30 artists celebrating the art of Day of the Dead, featuring the beauty that comes from such a unique event.

This exhibition is juried by local multimedia artist Dan45 Hernandez. He creates artwork that aims to remind us of the persistence of nostalgia and the euphoric state that memories can give through familiar objects and pop culture references.
