Inkwell Poetry is excited to announce our March mentor Dr. Geoffrey Babbitt and his workshop “Getting More Out of Less: Lyrical Concision, Line, and Image in Poetry.” Oliver will be discussing

the practice and praxis of epistolary poetry as well as guiding participants with their own writing. This will be a one-hour presentation/workshop where Babbitt will explore his own experience as a writer and guide participants in their own writing based on provided prompts.

The presentation will be followed by a one-hour Q&A segment where attendees can ask Dr.Babbitt questions about the topics covered as well as receive feedback on their own writing

throughout the workshop. Announcements of Clark County current and future opportunities,

events, and services will close out the workshop. Attendees will receive a copy of the announcements through email. This workshop will be recorded.
