“Mojave Mandalas” is a wonderful project led by artist Sierra Slentz in collaboration with visitors of the West Flamingo Senior Center. The ceramic mosaic was conceived at the community engagement workshops with Sierra at the Senior Center. Each Mandala was crafted collectively by workshop participants, drawing inspiration from the diverse forms and colors found in the Mojave Desert.
Clark County Public Arts role is to promote, encourage and connect the community with culture and public art around the valley. The Clark County Public Arts program can be found on Facebook and Instagram @CCPublicArts.
