The Things We Keep
Workshop with Artist Nick Denson
September 13, Saturday, 1-3pm

Clark County Museum 1830 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89002

In this workshop, participants will create origami and assemblage vessels from recycled materials, decorate them with personal stories through collage and objects, and then choose one vessel to keep and one to gift as part of a traveling community art installation.

Head in the Clouds, Feet on the Ground
September 29, 4:30-6:30pm

Helen Meyer Community Center

This hands-on workshop will provide families an opportunity to create a small art project together. During the workshop we will create small "flying kite" sculptures by painting, cutting, and gluing different materials. A demonstration and visual examples of each step of the project will be provided. All ages are welcome.
