2025 Events & Special Programs at Wetlands Park

Haunt the Wetlands
Friday, October 24, 2025
4 pm to 8 pm

Tickets required, available September 1.

Brave the Haunted Maze, walk among the Creatures of the Night, encounter live Creepy Crawly Critters, and explore a Mad Scientist's Lab. The Nature Center will be open for visitors to explore the Exhibit Gallery and shop the Nature Store. This is not a trick-or-treating event.

Pollinator Party
Saturday, August 2, 2025
10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Celebrate Pollinators! What are pollinators? Bees, Butterflies, Birds, Bats & More
Learn about pollinators with games & crafts. Plant a native flower and take it home to watch it grow. This is not a drop-off program, adults stay to participate. Space is limited, advance registration recommended.
Ages 0-2 free. Ages 3-12, Fee $5

Stalking Twilight
Saturday, August 9, 2025
7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Experience the trails of Wetlands Park at night! Go on a group walk with a Wetlands Park naturalist and explore the Nature Preserve under the full moon. Look for bats, beavers, raccoons and other night creatures. You will have the opportunity to hear bat calls and view the moon and other celestial bodies through a telescope, too. The Wetlands Park Nature Store and Exhibit Gallery will be open. All ages welcome. Space is limited, please register in advance.

Ages 0-2 free. Ages 3-Adult, fee $5
