Welcome to the Wetlands Park Team
This class is required for all volunteers. We will review Frequently Asked Questions, park regulations, and general information and history about Wetlands Park. Most importantly, this training includes interacting with visitors in an appropriate manner for a positive visitor experience and safety.

Exhibit Gallery 101
Learn about hosting at the Exhibit Gallery front counter, including directing visitors and answering questions. Required with "Beyond the Front Counter" for all Info Host volunteers.
Exhibit Gallery: Beyond the Front Counter
Learn about acting as a docent in the exhibits to spark curiosity, ensure visitor safety, and help preserve the exhibits themselves. This training includes supplemental tabletop activities.
Wetlands Park Trailkeepers This is an in-person class for new Wetlands Park Trailkeeper volunteers. Current volunteers are welcome to attend as a refresher. Learn about reporting and procedures for the program.
Education Facilitator "Brown Bag" Training/Discussion
Plant ID Class
A hands-on examination of the most common plants found in the Nature Preserve. Participants are encouraged to make their own observations and use a workbook to record comparisons and other notes. The class will be inside and outside. We will take a short walk outside in the Nature Preserve with frequent stops. We will also discuss some ethnobotanical uses.
