Pecos McLeod Trailhead
Flamingo Arroyo Trail begins just west of the Pecos-McLeod Interconnect, and the trailhead, on the east side of Pecos-McLeod at Emerson, is the westernmost trailhead. It contains two shade shelters, one with a gabion bench (loose rock held together with metal mesh), extensive desert plantings, and remnant chunks of the Stardust Hotel, including part of its swimming pool steps. Artist-designed signs help orient and locate trail users on a map showing the entire trail.
