Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick is hosting the sixth annual Clothes for Comfort clothing drive, benefiting thousands of children and young adults in need. From February 1, 2026, through March 1, 2026, Commissioner Kirkpatrick is calling on community members to donate new or gently used clothing.
“Every donation can make a world of difference in the lives of kids who need it most,” said Kirkpatrick. “When they wear something that makes them feel good, it has a huge impact on their health and well-being. It boosts their confidence and helps them feel a sense of belonging at school.”
The public is encouraged to donate clothing for all seasons and all sizes. Gently used items must be clean, freshly washed, and stain-free. Socks and underwear donations must be brand new.
Donations can be dropped off at the Clark County Government Center, all Parks and Recreation Community Centers, and all The Harbor locations.
Clothes for Comfort donations will go to kids and young adults served by the Clark County Family Services Department, community centers, and partner nonprofits that often see children in need, such as SafeNest and The Harbor.
Community members can call 702-455-2540 or email William.Covington@clarkcountynv.gov for more information.
