Clark County Commission Chairman Michael Naft will host a special ceremony at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign on Thursday, February 12, at 8:30 a.m. to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Power of Love gala benefiting the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. The iconic landmark will be illuminated in purple and pink to honor three decades of commitment to advancing brain health research and care.

"The Power of Love gala has become a cornerstone of our community's philanthropic spirit,” said Commissioner Naft. “For 30 years, this event has brought our us together to support groundbreaking brain health research and compassionate care that extends far beyond Southern Nevada. Illuminating our iconic sign in purple and pink is a fitting tribute to the families, caregivers and patients whose courage inspires this vital work."

“Lighting the Welcome to Las Vegas sign in honor of the Power of Love's 30th anniversary is a powerful tribute to the families, caregivers and patients who inspire our work every day,” said Dr. Dylan Wint, medical director of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. “This milestone reflects three decades of commitment to advancing brain health and expanding access to compassionate, world-class care. As we look ahead, the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health remains dedicated to pushing research, treatment and prevention efforts forward while supporting our community with the hope they deserve.”

Since 1996, the Power of Love gala has raised funds to support the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health's innovative research, medical training and more than 152,000 visits to its no-cost support, education and therapeutic programs for patients and caregivers.
