Motorists should be prepared for traffic delays and detours as crews conduct work associated with the CC-215 Western Beltway Trail Improvements project.
- The southbound CC-215 off-ramp to Charleston Blvd will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday, February 27 to 6 a.m. on Monday, March 2.
- The Charleston Blvd. on-ramp to southbound CC-215, Howard Hughes Park Dr. West and Summerlin Centre Dr. will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday, March 13 to 6 a.m. on Monday, March 16.
These closures are needed for crews to install large, prefabricated concrete boxes that will fortify the underground tunnels that will allow trail users to safely bypass crossing through traffic on busy Charleston Blvd.
The $18.7 million CC-215 Western Beltway Trail Improvements project consists of the construction of two new segments of the Western Beltway Trail, including the trail undercrossing west of CC-215 under Charleston Blvd. and an extension of the multi-use trail west of CC-215 between Fort Apache Road and Peace Way.
Project details and updates, including a schedule of upcoming lane restrictions, can be found on the Clark County Department of Public Works website for Projects in Construction.
