Clark County invites civic-minded residents to help shape the future of their community by serving on the Upper and Lower Kyle Canyon Citizens Advisory Council (CAC). The County is currently accepting applications for an open seat on this important local advisory body.

Advisory positions empower residents to directly influence local decision-making while serving as a crucial bridge between their community and county government. The incoming council member will serve a two-year term and participate in regular public meetings addressing vital community matters.

The Upper and Lower Kyle Canyon CAC is responsible for providing input regarding various matters in the Upper and Lower Kyle Canyon areas, forwarding concerns or problems to the County Commission, assisting in long-term planning, and disseminating information to the residents of the Upper and Lower Kyle Canyon area.

“Serving on a Citizen’s Advisory Council gives residents a meaningful opportunity to help strengthen the future of the Kyle Canyon community,” said Commissioner April Becker. “We need individuals who care deeply about their neighborhood and are ready to listen, engage, and advocate for the priorities of the people who live here.”
