Clark County is seeking qualified applicants for nomination to the Nevada Clean Energy Fund (NCEF) Board of Directors. The NCEF is a nonprofit organization that provides financial and technical resources to Nevadans to accelerate clean energy growth in the state, reduce energy costs, create jobs, and address climate change.

The NCEF Board helps guide investments in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and electric vehicle projects, with a particular focus on underserved communities, schools, tribal nations, and local governments. Board members help shape strategies that reduce energy costs, improve sustainability, and support Nevada’s clean energy economy.

Applicants must have expertise in renewable energy, economic development, banking, law, finance, or other matters relevant to the Board’s duties.

Application instructions and forms are available on the Clark County website. Completed applications and supporting documents must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The Clark County Commission will select nominees during its June 16 meeting.

About the Nevada Clean Energy Fund Board of Directors:

The Board consists of nine members, including the Director of the Office of Energy, the Executive Director of the Office of Economic Development, the Real Estate Administrator of the Department of Business and Industry, and the Commissioner of Financial Institutions. Additional members are nominated by the Clark County Commission, the Washoe County Board of County Commissioners, the 15 other counties in Nevada, the State Contractors’ Board, and labor organizations in Nevada.

Board members serve three-year terms and are eligible for reappointment.
