Clark County’s Department of Parks and Recreation is thrilled to invite local aspiring stars to center stage for the debut of the Clark County Youth Theatre. The program’s first-ever production, Camp Rock (The Musical), is seeking passionate and creative young performers to join the cast for an unforgettable Summer 2026 season.

This opportunity is open to youth performers of all skill levels aged 12 to 17. Whether a student has been on stage for years or is dreaming of their very first audition, the program welcomes actors, singers, and dancers ready to explore the magic of live performance.

Interested performers should come prepared with 30 to 60 seconds of a pop or rock song and a headshot or school picture, as they will also be asked to cold-read a scene. In-person auditions are scheduled for Thursday, May 14, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Silverado Ranch Community Center located at 9855 Gilespie St. An invite-only audition session will follow on Friday, May 15.

For those unable to attend the in-person event, self-tape video submissions are being accepted until May 11, at 5 p.m. Registration can be completed online at https://bit.ly/4n6ehKy. Once the cast is selected, rehearsals will run from May 18 through August 6, 2026, leading up to the final show dates on August 7 and 8.
