Bring the outdoors in at the Clark County Wetlands Park “Discovery Day” on Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Activities will be indoors at the Wetlands Park Nature Center, 7050 Wetlands Park Lane, near Tropicana and Boulder Hwy. The event is open to participants of all ages. Highlights include encounters with live desert creatures, crafts and activities, and various interpretive and interactive exhibits—no advance registration is required for this free event.

Mojave Max is joining the fun! Inside the Nature Center, little explorers can spin a wheel to match animal footprints, build a miniature wetlands landscape, and create a critter to take home. Partnering organizations will be on-site, sharing activity ideas to keep families entertained all summer long. Plus, beat the heat with free snow cones while supplies last! The Wetlands Park Nature Store will also be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering a selection of nature-themed gifts, apparel, books, jewelry and more.
