Clark County Commission Chairman Tick Segerblom is holding a community town hall to address encampments of unhoused individuals in the Flamingo Road and Maryland Parkway area. Residents, business owners and community stakeholders are invited to participate on Monday, June 30, at 6 p.m. at the Clark County Library located at 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

“Homelessness is a deeply complex issue that demands a united effort from our entire community,” said Commissioner Segerblom. “This town hall is chance for us to engage in a meaningful and productive dialogue, and a vital exchange of ideas. Our foremost priority is ensuring that the community and residents of this area remain well-informed. It is important that we share not only the work being done but the resources available to help both our unhoused population and the broader community.”

Commissioner Segerblom will also update residents on the latest related to the construction at the wash in the Flamingo Road and Maryland Parkway vicinity.

Representatives from LVMPD, UNLV Police Department, and HELP of Southern Nevada will also be present at the town hall to share insights into their efforts in addressing homelessness-related challenges.

The event is open to the public. For additional information, contact the Clark County District E Office at DistrictE@ClarkCountyNV.gov.
