Clark County Commissioner William McCurdy II will host a special ceremony at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign on Thursday, July 9, at 9 a.m. to celebrate the grand opening of MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM ’s flagship Southern Nevada location at AREA15. The iconic landmark will be illuminated in pink to mark the occasion.
“MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM is expected to create new local jobs and generate economic activity that benefits Clark County and its residents,” said Commissioner McCurdy II. “I’m proud to welcome this colorful, creative experience to Southern Nevada and to see our iconic sign glow pink in honor of the occasion. The museum’s grand opening gives families across Southern Nevada another reason to celebrate together.”
“It’s taken nearly 15 years to achieve my goal of opening a museum in Las Vegas,” said Manish Vora, Co-Founder and CEO of MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM. “What began as a small pop‑up in New York City has grown into something beyond anything we imagined, and having the ‘Welcome to Las Vegas’ sign glow pink for us is unforgettable. Las Vegas has always embraced big ideas, and we’re proud to help shape a new chapter of family‑focused experiences. We’re just getting started on our mission to make Southern Nevada even sweeter.”
MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM began as a 30-day pop-up in New York City and has since grown into a multi-city interactive experience blending art, play and ice cream-inspired design. The new location at AREA15 marks the company’s flagship presence in Southern Nevada. Advance tickets are on sale as the MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM prepares for its July 3 opening.
