Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom will host a special ceremony at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 9 a.m. to celebrate ‘Flavor Flav’s SHE Weekend’, a tribute to women’s athletics.

“Every time we light this sign, we send a message about who we are as a community,” said Commissioner Tick Segerblom. “Celebrating SHE Weekend and the momentum behind women’s sports shows the world that Clark County is a place where all athletes can shine.”

“I am honored to be able to host some of the best female athletes here in Las Vegas for my Flavor Flav She Weekend,” said Flavor Flav. “I want to thank everybody who has reached out wanting to get involved…this weekend is gonna be action packed! And to get off a historical celebration by lighting the historical Welcome to Las Vegas sign is the best possible way!"

‘Flavor Flav’s SHE Weekend’ brings together athletes, fans and community leaders from across the region for a celebration of women's sports, spotlighting local and national competitors while encouraging greater visibility, opportunity and investment in women's athletics.
