Spanish-speaking aspiring and current business owners in Clark County are invited to attend "Conocimientos Básicos para obtener tu licencia de negocio" (Business License 101- Basics to Obtain Your Business License), a free Spanish-language informational session aimed at simplifying the business licensing process.
The session, conducted entirely in Spanish, will offer step-by-step guidance on how to obtain a business license in Unincorporated Clark County, the City of Las Vegas, and the City of North Las Vegas. Attendees will also learn how to apply for a Multijurisdictional Business License, which simplifies the process by allowing business owners to operate in multiple participating jurisdictions with a single license.
The session will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the East Las Vegas Library (2851 E Bonanza Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89101).
"Navigating the various steps to obtain a business license can be daunting for many entrepreneurs," said Commissioner Tick Segerblom. "We're proud to partner with local jurisdictions to help connect entrepreneurs with the tools they need in Clark County."
Commissioner William McCurdy added, "Supporting our small business community is essential for a thriving local economy. We are committed to providing resources that simplify these processes and empower individuals—especially those in underserved communities—to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams. I encourage anyone interested in starting a business to attend."
The workshop is free and open to the public. Presenters will include representatives from local government business licensing departments. Free food will be provided while supplies last.
