Clark County is looking for residents of unincorporated towns who want a direct hand in shaping their community's future by serving on a local advisory board for the next two years.

“Town Advisory Boards and Citizens Advisory Councils give residents a meaningful voice in the decisions that shape their communities,” said Commission Chair Michael Naft. “I encourage anyone who is passionate about their neighborhood and wants to make a difference to consider applying and taking an active role in shaping the future of Clark County.”

TABs and CACs serve as an advisory and liaison link between unincorporated towns and county government. The boards and councils hold public meetings at least once a month to discuss and make recommendations on long-term planning, zoning changes, public works projects, County programs and ordinances that may affect their town.

Applicants must be eligible to vote, live within the boundaries of the Town Advisory Board (TAB) or Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) they are applying for, and attend required training.

The areas with a TAB are Bunkerville, Enterprise, Indian Springs, Laughlin, Moapa, Moapa Valley, Mt. Charleston, Paradise, Searchlight, Spring Valley, Sunrise Manor, Whitney and Winchester. The areas with a CAC are Goodsprings, Lone Mountain, Lower Kyle Canyon, Mountain Springs, Red Rock and Sandy Valley.

Five TABs — Bunkerville, Laughlin, Moapa, Moapa Valley and Searchlight — are elected under Nevada Revised Statutes. Because some of those boards did not draw enough candidates in the 2026 general election, the County Commission will fill the remaining seats through appointment.
