Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft invites families and community members to celebrate Grandparents Day with an evening of food, entertainment, and activities on Thursday, September 10, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the West Flamingo Senior Center, located at 6255 West Flamingo Road.
A highlight of this year’s gathering is the return of the popular bouquet-making station, where attendees can craft their own custom floral arrangements. Families can also enjoy live music, complimentary food, and a variety of outdoor lawn games suitable for people of all ages.
“This annual celebration at our West Flamingo Senior Center is a chance to celebrate not only grandparents, but the families who help make Clark County the wonderful place it is,” said Commissioner Michael Naft. “Through events like this and year-round programming that supports the interests and well-being of our seniors, we are committed to keeping our older residents active, connected, and supported.”
The celebration is free and open to the public. For additional information or inquiries, please call 702.455.7742.
