Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson, the Whitney Recreation Center, and the STOP Coalition are excited to announce the return of the annual Silver Bowl Trunk or Treat, a free, safe, family-friendly Halloween celebration. The community is invited to dress up and join the festivities on Thursday, October 30, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Silver Bowl Park, located at 6800 E Russell Road.
The event provides a secure environment for children to trick-or-treat from creatively decorated car trunks. Highlights of the evening include Free Food for all attendees, Live Music and entertainment, Games and activities for all ages, and Costume Contests with prizes for the best-dressed, best dancer, and best decorated car.
"The Silver Bowl Trunk or Treat brings our community together for a night of safe, festive fun," said Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson. "We are proud to partner with the Whitney Rec Center and the STOP Coalition to host this event and encourage all families to come out, enjoy the free food, music, and show off their creative costumes."
The Silver Bowl Trunk-or-Treat is open to the public and free to attend. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to ensure participation in all contests and activities. Visit http://bit.ly/474fiv7 for a full list of Halloween events offered by Clark County.
