Over the last several months, the Clark County Department of Elections has prepared for Election Day on November 3. Voters who have not yet voted are encouraged to cast their vote in person tomorrow or place their mail ballot in the mail by Election Day. Mail ballots can also be dropped off at a polling location tomorrow. Mail ballots are required to have a postmark date on or before November 3, 2026, to be eligible to be counted.

The Clark County Department of Elections began training election workers for the general election on August 5, and between this date and October 24, a total of 304 training sessions occurred totaling over 1500 training hours. About 270 county employees from across the organization’s 38 departments participated in the training and are serving as election workers across the region, with another 120 or so county employees who will also work election night at the warehouse.

“We simply could not do what we do for our community without the dedication and support from our county employees,” said Lorena Portilla, Clark County Registrar of Voters. “Each election, we put out the call to our organization, and our employees answer without hesitation which helps to ensure we can facilitate safe and secure elections across Clark County. We spend hours ensuring that election workers are trained in the elections process, and this includes identifying issues of concern that need to be addressed. The public should feel safe casting their ballots tomorrow and we look forward to strong turnout numbers.”

Since the start of early voting, 220,021 in-person votes have been cast. As a reminder, mail ballots with a postmark before or on Election Day are eligible to be counted and these totals will continue in the days following November 3.
