Discover the vibrant world of Jurissa Pratt at her solo exhibition, "Planting Myself Here," presented by the Clark County Office of Public Arts, on display at the Dr. William U. Pearson Community Center, 1625 West Carey Ave, now through January 8. An artist's reception will be provided on Thursday, January 8, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pearson's gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The facility is closed on Sundays.

Jurissa, a talented first-generation Nicaraguan-American artist originally from Miami, uses oil and acrylic to explore profound themes. Her work is a beautiful journey through self-realization, spirituality, symbolism, and family.

Beyond the stunning artwork, Jurissa’s exhibition will feature a free art workshop for all ages offered on Tuesday, January 6, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Families are encouraged to participate.
