Motorists should be prepared for an overnight closure of the southbound Clark County 215 Beltway (CC-215) between Summerlin Parkway and Far Hills Avenue scheduled to occur from Thursday, Dec. 18, 8 p.m. through 6 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19. This closure is needed for crews to safely install the final span a new pedestrian bridge over Summerlin Parkway that is part of the CC-215/Summerlin Parkway Interchange Project.

During this time, all mainline lanes on CC-215 southbound will be closed between Summerlin Parkway and Far Hills Avenue. Southbound traffic will be detoured to eastbound Summerlin Parkway to the Anasazi Drive off-ramp to head south to Far Hills Avenue westbound to get back onto southbound CC-215. Detour signs will be in place.

Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling through work zones and take alternate routes when possible. Due to the fluid nature of roadwork, the public is reminded that construction schedules and travel impacts can change on short notice, and they are advised to check navigation apps such as Waze, Google Maps or Apple Maps for real-time information.

The $130 million CC-215/Summerlin Parkway Interchange project includes the reconfiguration of interchange ramps, construction of a new flyover ramp from southbound CC-215 to eastbound Summerlin Parkway, new bridges, widening of the existing Summerlin Parkway bridge, and three new trail bridges to expand the City of Las Vegas Trail across CC-215. Project details and updates, including a schedule of upcoming lane restrictions, can be found on the project website at CC215SummerlinParkwayInterchange.com.
