Public invited to Smog Free event on Dec. 10

Did your pre-2006 vehicle fail its most recent emissions test? Don’t get exhausted! You may qualify for a voucher, valued at up to $975, to repair your vehicle and get it back on the road. Smog Free Clark County is inviting Southern Nevada residents to its upcoming event on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at Durango Hills Community Center. Smog Free Clark County is underwritten by Clark County’s Division of Air Quality, which is part of the Dept. of Environment & Sustainability.

What: Smog Repair Event (FREE and open to the public)

When: Wednesday, Dec. 10, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Where: Durango Hills Community Center, 3521 N. Durango Dr., Las Vegas

“Since 2023, Smog Free Clark County has repaired more than 1,600 vehicles in Clark County,” said Jodi Bechtel, deputy director of Environment & Sustainability. “We love the impact this program has had; not only on improving local air quality but helping people get where they need to go.”

Drivers of vehicles between model years 1998 – 2006 that failed an emissions test.
