Sept. 19, 2022 - Commission Chairman Jim Gibson and Commissioner Tick Segerblom opened a new bridge on the eastside of the valley early Monday.
“This new bridge is great for East Las Vegas,” Commissioner Segerblom said. “It improves access for residents to U.S. 95, and eventually to a new major road connecting to Henderson.”
The new bridge is part of a project that also included repaving and adding new bike lanes, streetlights, and sidewalks along Desert Inn from Blue Ash Lane to Hollywood Boulevard.
William Charles Construction was the contractor for the project.
