Clark County has been named to the Forbes list of Best-in-State Employers 2022. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. Thirty-five employers were recognized in Nevada, and of that, four were in the government sector and Clark County topped that list.
America's Best-in-State Employers 2022 were identified in an independent survey based on a vast sample of about 70,000 Americans working for companies with more than 500 employees in the United States. Across 25 industry sectors, 1,380 employer brands were ranked among the top employers. Brands were able to win in more than one state.
The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employees were also asked to evaluate other employers in their respective industry and state that stood out either positively or negatively.
Based on the results of the study, Clark County is ecstatic to be recognized on the Forbes list of Best-in-State Employers 2022.
“As an employer of over 10,000 people, we are thrilled to be recognized for the first time as a Best-In-State employer, especially as the top government employer in Nevada. The Forbes brand is recognized across the world, but here in our community, the Clark County brand is one that we stand behind and we know the pride our employees feel in representing our community through public service,” said Jim Gibson, Chair of the Clark County Commission. “We are a government organization, but we are driven by service to others. Clark County offers a range of benefits to our employees, but perhaps the greatest benefit is a rewarding career filled with growth and opportunity. We are always hiring and encourage those interested to apply today.”
